White Line on Screen After One UI 7 (Android 14) Update – S21 FE

Hello Samsung Members,

I wanted to share a frustrating issue I’m facing with my Galaxy S21 FE. Around 14 days after updating to One UI 7 with Android 14, I noticed a white line appearing on my screen. The phone was working fine before. I simply placed it down at night, and when I woke up the next morning, the white line was there.

I’ve tried all the usual troubleshooting steps (safe mode, display test, restart, etc.), but nothing has worked so far. This has really disappointed me, especially since my device is otherwise in good condition.

If this is a common issue after the update, I hope Samsung addresses it soon. If it's happening deliberately or due to software pushing hardware issues, it’s not acceptable.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue with my s21 fe
But samsung customer service said there is nothing they can do about this

Like factory reset
I use different methods like safe mode other

• The same happened to me today. I too have an S21 fe. After updating to one UI 7 running on android 15 with may month security patch, I got white line on my phone screen when I woke up and unlocked my device in the morning. I tried restarting but it didn't work.

It happened to me while using the phone in front of my eyes. The customer service declined my request and didn't assist me saying they can't do anything if the warranty has run out. Why doesn't Samsung give free screen replacements here after the warranty when in a neighbouring country (India) they're giving free replacements? This is completely unjustified and a hot mess. I'll never buy from scamsung again.

I will suggest to say bye bye to Samsung. Even Vivo is replacing X series mobile display free of cost due to green line issue. But Samsung is not bothering its customers. So we don't need your technology. Keep it with you.

I also facing the same problem while my phone physical condition is just like new one. This very disappointing that Samsung is not working on this issue.
