S22 Ultra bricked after 6.1 update. BLACK OUT

With a heavy heart, I would like to share my disappointment. After updating my S22 Ultra to One UI 6.1, it suddenly went black. I tried to turn it on, but nothing happened. I spent more than $1200 on this flagship phone, bought in 2022. After visiting the service center, they said the motherboard had failed and needs replacing at a cost of $500. I wonder if Samsung should take notice and recall all S22 Ultras, replacing their motherboards free of charge for those facing the same issue. I have seen many people post about the same experience.

 Ultra because 80% of my work is done on my phone. But this is still heartbreaking. I don't change phones regularly, but this experience makes me want to switch to an iPhone.

This is Pakistan. Here, they don't even accept their mistake if they damage the phone while repairing it.

If they break the back of your while opening it, you will be responsible for it (which costs more than 12k). They do not take any responsibility at all. I paid them 50,100 for a screen replacement due to the green line scam by Samsung update in 2022. They messed my phone up. It was no longer water resistant.

Since your phone is out of warranty, just get it fixed from the open market for 80% less price.
