S20+ Display - Green vertical line

Suddenly I got a vertical green line without any physical damage. 

While searching for this defect, many users worldwide have faced this issue with their S20+ phones.

Replacement of display needs 165,000/- (23/11/2022) at Galle Services centre.

Sad to here🥲. It's very common issue came with galaxy S20 series. I think you are the third one got this issue in this week😶

Yeah malli... Btw, replacement cost was at Rs.125,000 around 3 months ago 😐

As a my memory it was cost nearly 80k in last july or early so it increased more than double of price ayya 🤔🥴

I had this issue about 7 months ago. Now the screen is completely yellow/orange colour and the phone cannot be used 

Agents wanted 145k to replace the screen!!!

This is a common hardware problem. I would suggest you go to any service centre to replace your phone screen. If the unit is out of warranty, you must pay for the replacement.

Unfortunately, the replacement cost for the original display will be higher. But that's the only solution.

If you are not worried about the green line issue, I advise you to keep your phone the way it is. And it won't mess up your Galaxy device.

I am thinking of getting a screen replacement in the US. 

My S20+ is made in Vietnam. 

I wonder if the same issue with green lines will occur with a US available screen??

If it will, I might as well save myself the trouble and expense 😜

Decided to buy S21fe model for 175,000/- (27/11/2022) with 1 year warranty, rather than replacing S20+ display for 165,000/-
