It is no exception that nowadays displays offer a whole lot of experience with their high refresh Rates but there's only one problem and that is the lack of options when choosing the the right refresh rate. I have a galaxy s22 and it can offer highest of 120hz and a lowest of 60hz via software but sometimes you kinda don't need the 120hz because your battery is dying and you don't wanna stick to the old fashioned 60hz either do you ? Of course not so why isn't there any option for 90hz refresh rate 🙄. Galaxy A32 has it and its not a flagship phone.

That is true but I'm talking about the flagship phones such as the ultras and the s series they do have the adaptive refresh rate but I'm talking about options to control the refresh rate

Samsung is working on it. And newer devices are coming with LTPO display which enables Adaptive Refresh Rate.
In LTPO display Screen Refresh Rate changes according to conditions.
I think s22 also have variable refresh.

Actual problem with s22 is it's lower battery capacity.

That's also true and the s22 does have an LTPO display but what I'm talking about is the options to choose refresh Rates such as 60hz 90hz 120hz etc
