My samsung s20+ got several lines (pink, green, white) on display. From my first mobile i used samsung. My last mobile S7 edge also faced same problem. So may be this is my last samsung product i am going to use. Very irritating to use this mobile. Time to change for some other product. Several low budget brands also performing very well.

Hi,

It was a common issue that was reported by millions of users, it happens due to the overheating issue which means the heat absorbing components dried of sooner and than its usual five year life.. so because of the heat generat the ribbon pins are heated always it a high-voltage pixel burn..
Solution to this would be replacing the heat absorbing sheats and then replacing its AMOLED panel.

No to say , you just need to replace whole display 😑

Very sorry to hear that this has happened to your display as well. More than 50 people in SL already reported this issue and unfortunately the only permanent solution is to get the display replaced.

My friend also recently paid 120k and got it done because he had no option left and couldn't get a new phone.

But the thing is what happen if the same happen to new display too.
Galaxy S
Yes there is a chance for that as well. If its not too bad don't change the display unless you really have to

I faced the same issue with my s20 ultra and samsung said will cost around 140k to replace the display. I'm wondering why they cannot replace the display for free, because this is a known issue with the S series!
