Same issue contact delete in samsung account gmail and phone storage

Same issue! S10+ automatically deleted contacts suddenly. My WhatsApp chats then have numbers as unknown. I saved them again. Today I specifically remember the contact that was deleted earlier has been deleted again. Contacts were in gmail. Around 5-10 random deleted out of 300 400
