Hi,
I use a s10 plus.
The charging cable that arrived with the phone got a bit damaged and now im looking for a new charging cable?
What options should I consider so that I can use fast charging but not damage my phone by any chance?

You should use a original samsung charging cable. They can be purchased in any authorised samsung reseller. Please note that you should buy a cable which supports fast charging.

Hi Thank you for your response.
Yes, the original samsung cable is good the only problem is the cable coating tears off at the ends and those parts heat up.
Therefore I was thinking of a bit thicker material like the ones with nylon materials for the covering.

You can buy cable savers (tiny plastic clipons) they fix onto the end of the cables so that they prevent from breaking.

If you have a hot glue gun or heat shrink plastic, you could use that to repair the plastic of your current cable till u buy one. Thats what i used to do.

I personally order my cables from Aliexpress, so far they work as well as the original during charging and data transfers.

If the cable doesn't do data transfers from a laptop to phone or vice versa, its probably a **bleep** cable
