Galaxy A
Dear Samsung Team, Assalamualaikum, My name is Hamid, and I hope you will take a few moments to review this message with due attention and seriousness. I am writing to raise some critical and unresolved concerns regarding the Samsung Galaxy A06, which I am currently using with the February 2025 software update installed. As a visually impaired user, I depend on Samsung’s smartphones due to their reputation for offering excellent accessibility features. However, I am deeply disappointed to inform you that after the latest February 2025 update, none of the major problems I previously encountered have been fixed, and in fact, the user experience remains significantly compromised in several areas. Despite my high expectations from a brand like Samsung, it is both frustrating and disheartening to see that a newer model like the A06 is underperforming compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A05, especially in terms of features that are essential for accessibility and usability. Below, I would like to explain each issue in detail once again in the hope that Samsung will address these problems urgently. --- 1. Camera App Accessibility – Still Unfixed in February 2025 Update One of the most serious issues that remains unresolved is the lack of accessibility features in the camera application. The Galaxy A05 had a highly useful face detection feature, which announced the number of faces detected in the frame – a vital tool for blind users like myself. After switching to the Galaxy A06, this feature is completely missing. I had hoped that Samsung would bring back this feature through a software update. However, even after the February 2025 update, the issue still persists. This means that users like me can no longer independently take photos or interact with the camera in an informed way. This downgrade in accessibility is not only disappointing, but it also raises concerns about Samsung’s commitment to inclusive technology. It is unacceptable for a newer device to offer fewer accessibility features than the previous generation. I respectfully request a clear explanation: Why was this face detection feature removed from the Galaxy A06? Why was it not restored in the February 2025 update despite its importance to accessibility? Is Samsung working on reinstating this function, or has it been permanently removed? --- 2. Biometric Verification via Camera – Still Non-Functional Another issue that continues to affect all Galaxy A06 users is the inability to use biometric verification (such as face recognition or camera-based fingerprint scanning) within apps. Despite this being a core feature in modern smartphones, it still does not work in the Galaxy A06, even after the most recent update. This issue is not limited to my device – I have confirmed that many other users are facing the same problem. This functionality is essential for logging in to financial apps, secure authentication, and ease of access – especially for users with disabilities. Its absence significantly reduces the value and reliability of the phone. Again, I would like to ask: Has Samsung acknowledged this issue internally? Why has the February 2025 update failed to address this critical function? Will this be fixed in the next update? --- 3. Charging Speed Inconsistency – Still Unresolved Another long-standing issue is the charging speed inconsistency. Both the Galaxy A06 and Galaxy A15 are advertised with similar charging capabilities, yet the A06 continues to take 30 minutes longer to charge fully compared to the A15. This is not just a technical flaw – it impacts the everyday experience of the user. In today’s fast-paced world, users depend on efficient charging, and a delay of this kind can be highly inconvenient. Since this issue still exists after the February 2025 update, I would like to know: Has Samsung conducted any internal testing to verify this delay? Is this problem related to software optimization? Will this be addressed in an upcoming patch or update? --- 4. A Personal Appeal – Request for Action or Replacement As someone who is blind, I cannot afford to keep changing smartphones frequently. I chose Samsung with trust in your brand’s focus on reliability, user experience, and accessibility. But sadly, the Galaxy A06 has not lived up to that standard. I had high hopes that the February 2025 update would resolve these problems, but none of the issues have been fixed so far. I am left with a phone that is harder to use than the one I replaced. If Samsung does not intend to address these concerns in future updates, I respectfully request that the company replace my device with another model that offers the required accessibility features, free of cost. It is simply unfair that a loyal user who is visually impaired must struggle with a downgraded experience due to software limitations. I am not asking for luxury or extras – I am simply asking to be able to use my phone with the same accessibility and convenience I had before. If the Galaxy A06 cannot meet those standards, then I believe it is reasonable to ask for a model that does. --- Conclusion: Urgent Request for Clarification and Action Samsung has always been known for its customer care and innovation, which is why I am hopeful that this feedback will be taken seriously. I kindly request that you: 1. Provide an official response to the issues listed above. 2. Clearly inform whether these problems are being worked on or not. 3. Share a timeline, if applicable, for the release of fixes. 4. Consider a free replacement of the device if no solution is possible. I hope this message will be forwarded to the appropriate department or team, and I will receive a prompt and respectful reply with clear next steps. I truly want to continue using Samsung devices, but I also need to know that my voice is being heard. Thank you for your time and understanding. Sincerely, Hamid (A loyal Samsung user and accessibility advocate)
