I have a Samsung A16 and I have noticed one flaw in the model that whenever you charge the phone the fingerprint doesnot work during charging and also the phone lags during charging
As soon as the charger is removed it works perfectly
Why?

If your Samsung Galaxy A16 fingerprint sensor fails only while charging, the issue is often related to electromagnetic interference (EMI) or static caused by the charger or cable.
Immediate Solutions
Switch Chargers: Use an official Samsung-approved 25W wall adapter and USB-C cable. Cheap third-party chargers often lack proper grounding, causing "ghost touches" or sensor interference.Avoid Wireless Charging: Electromagnetic waves from wireless chargers can specifically degrade fingerprint recognition performance.Check Your Case/Sheet: If you have a protective sheet covering the sides or back, it might be touching the side-mounted sensor. Some users report that removing or trimming the sheet around the sensor area resolves the issue.
Software Troubleshooting
Update Software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung has released patches for biometric stability in recent One UI versions.Run Diagnostics: Open the Samsung Members App and select Support > Phone diagnostics > Fingerprint recognition to test for hardware faults.Reset Accessibility Settings: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset accessibility settings. This can clear software glitches affecting the sensor without erasing your data.Clear Biometrics Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Biometrics > Storage > Clear cache.
Advanced Fixes
Calibrate via Hidden Menu: Open your phone dialer and type *#0*#. Tap Sensor, then under the Fingerprint section, tap Normal Scan to recalibrate.Wipe Cache Partition: Turn off your phone, then hold Power + Volume Up until the Samsung logo appears. Use the volume buttons to select Wipe cache partition and press Power to confirm.
If the sensor still fails exclusively while charging with an official cable, it may be a calibration issue that requires a professional software reset at a Samsung Service Center.
