CheckFirm app fetches update data directly from Samsung's FOTA server, same server who interacts to check for OTA updates on Samsung phones. You can use CheckFirm to see if a test build is uploaded before official rollout. CheckFirm does not download firmware, it only checks metadata.
If Samsung changes the endpoint structure, cache behavior, or rollout flags. CheckFirm might misread a test version as final, or may show outdated info if the metadata format changes. Sometimes Samsung uploads a firmware, CheckFirm detects it, but then It’s pulled back (due to bugs or delay). It's replaced with a different build. CheckFirm might cache the older result, causing confusion.

Real Case Examples:
1. Region THL (Thailand)
OTA started silently, Checkfirm still showed Android 14.
2. GLB (Phillippine),
OTA pushed directly to devices, no test firmware shown at all.
These are called “silent or soft rollouts”
After a few days, metadata gets updated in both cases and show in CheckFirm app.

Thats why CheckFirm Often Shows Incorrect or Confusing Information.
