Guys. Remember this is price increase is due to the USD hike. The new price is exactly what Softlogic will have to pay on the LC Maturity date. Hence it will be a loss for them if they give it at the same old price. However I really respect dialog for what they are doing here. They are taking the hit here and giving the unit at the same price customers pre-ordered. I guess they were giving it to the none clubvision customers also at the same price.... if any none clubvision member purchased a phone from dialog pls shared the invoice so that it would really help others....

That may be true. The dollar fluctuation started on 9th march but they decided to change the price on 16th which is the official launch date. Whoever ordered before price and gist revision are unaware and didn't agree.

It seems Dialog handled this professionally without damaging the customer experience. When they even updated the customer on the expected delivery dates when they decided to take the 2nd batch.
On the other hand, Softlogic decided to lie to the customers' faces said that discussion still going on regarding the price and they didn't receive the devices blah blah.

They should take the orders till the stock lasts of the 1st batch and decide how to handle the next batches with this USD issue.
The customer shouldn't pay the consequence of mismanagement.

When making the complain make sure to ask for compensation if they're only agreeing for a refund for da waste of our time and energy.
