- Good attribution style/Bad attribution style
- Role of coaches
- Conclusion

*INTRODUCTION*
Causal attribution means how athletes explain their success or failure.
It answers the question: 'Why did I win or lose?'

*Why is it Important?*
It affects motivation, confidence, and performance.
Positive thinking can improve future performance.
Negative thinking can reduce confidence.

*TYPES:*
Internal: Skill, Effort, Ability
External: Luck, Weather, Referee decisions
Stable: Ability, Talent
Unstable: Effort, mood, luck

Internal (inside the person)
External (outside factors)
Stable (permanent)
Unstable (temporary)

*EXAMPLE:*
Win: 'I won because I practiced hard' (internal)
Loss: 'I lost because of bad luck' (external)

*Good Attribution Style*
Success → Internal (effort, ability)
Failure → External or controllable (effort can improve)
This keeps motivation high

*BAD Attribution Style*
Success → External (luck)
Failure → Internal (I am not good)
This reduces confidence

*CONCLUSION*
Causal attribution shapes mindset.
Positive attribution improves performance.
Athletes should focus on effort and learning.
