Samsung A15 won't charge

I recently bought the Samsung A15 phone. The charger and cable are completely fine, but the phone shows the charging option without actually charging. However, if the phone is turned off and then charged, it charges. Also, if you turn on the phone while it's charging in the off state, it starts charging. The port is completely clean because the phone is new. What could be the issue?

We don't know but if u have samsung warranty go to store and ask them for replacing it with and new one as this is faulty

U dont got the warranty? Or atleasg go to the person u bought from and ask him what is this **bleep**

I have the warranty and I can go to the service center but it's a time consuming task.

Yes...bcz mostly samsung problems are there in software not in hardware

A software update was also installed recently; maybe the issue started after that. Please advise me keeping this in mind.
