Clearing Confusions About Good Lock!

Good Lock 2021 suite contains massive changes that comply with the all new One UI 3, and a few more.
One UI 2 users whose devices are upgradable to One UI 3, and the users who are already running One UI 3 versions on their devices, are recommended to read this post. 

• Devices running One UI Core versions which include, A01, A11, and F and M series are not supported by Good Lock.

• Some modules may not be installable on A20+, and J4+, F and M series due to software limitations.

• Only S and Note devices have all access to modules and features because they have all requirements.

• All core features of Task Changer have been built into the latest version of Home Up, while all core features of Edge Lighting+ are built right into the One UI 3 system. Therefore, Task Changer and Edge Lighting+ are longer needed for One UI 3 users.
  If you still have old versions, you should uninstall to avoid any possible conflicts.
  
  
• Good Lock users who want to keep using Task Changer features will have to install Home Up version 2.0.01.9 or later.
  
  
• Although Good Lock does not actually work and give you a message like "Country not supported" or "The mapper function returned null value", it acts like the "supervisor" for unit plug-in modules to be fully functional. Therefore it is recommended to install Good Lock to avoid problems with the modules.
  
  
• For settings of LockStar, MultiStar, NotiStar and QuickStar to remain after reboot on One UI 2 and later, you need to install Good Lock.

• There is a "rumor" that Edge Lighting+ might be updated in somewhere this year again, it was supposed to be in March.
  3 months later, we still haven't got anything.

Can we install good lock in Sri Lanka.

Yes. You can.

2 ways:

Method 1:
Download and install Good Lock and all its plug-in apps using external apk files.
You can download all apks from apkmirror.com

Method 2:
Using VPN

1). Download a VPN app (ex: Turbo VPN, SuperVPN) from Play Store.
2). Remove your sim from the phone.
3). Force stop Galaxy Store app and delete app cache and data.
4). Open the VPN app, and connect to an IP in a country like USA.
5). Now open Galaxy Store. You should see the US Galaxy Store now.
6). Search for Good Lock app and download and install it. Install its plug-in apps also.
7). After that disconnect from VPN and insert your sim again.

After this when you close and reopen Galaxy Store it will switch back to Sri Lanka store.

Most of the time you will get an error when opening Good Lock app saying something like it's unavailable for the region.
If you get this error, what you can do is using a launcher app for Good Lock.
Best apps are Fine Lock and Nice Lock.
You have to keep Good Lock app installed in your phone for some plug-in modules to work properly. So keep the app, but you can access all modules using Fine Lock/Nice Lock.

Apart from Good Lock plug-in apps, Fine Lock and Nice Lock both support Galaxy Labs plug-in apps as well. You can download Galaxy Labs and Galaxy Labs plug-ins the same methods mentioned above.
