OthersYou have already mentioned you are turning "Remove animations" ON... so the first line contradicts the post.
But I think you mean to say that this makes the phone "feel" faster.
"Feel" yes, "Work" no. There is a reason.
Window animation scale - controls the speed at which app windows open and close.
Transition animation scale - controls the speed at which you can switch between apps.
Animator duration scale - controls all the smaller in-app animations, such as tapping menus and buttons.
If you are confused what these animation scale values do, think of how a flip book works.
In a flip book, if you want to make the animation look smooth, you need many pages.
In our devices, animations take up CPU cycles. How much, depends on the value in "Animation scale".
The CPU cycle is like a "page" in the flip book.
Suppose you have given ".5x" as the value. That means your phone will only use half a CPU cycle to render the animation.
The lower the value, less CPU cycles are used. So your device won't render your animation (window/transition/animator) smoothly.
It will be "slow"/"quick"/"no" animation depending on your preferences for these values.
It's just that the CPU will have one less operation to perform, and therefore will use slightly less power.
But the amount of CPU resources freed up with removing animations is next to insignificant when compared to the CPU resources used for other things on your phone.
So it doesn't really do anything in the power saving sense, but it will make your device "feel" a little faster than the usual.
