No, Samsung Game Launcher doesn't save game progress. To save game progress you have to sign in to game using email or fb if your game provide that option to save data/progress, otherwise if game doesn't support siginin or saving progress then you can't save progress. It depends on game actually.
I know that but you know very well that mod apk always have same problems which not possible to sign or FB that's why I ask for alternative way if possible.
Then solution is to backup app using backup apps like Titanium Backup, Smart switch etc before resting your device and after reset restore your app completely
