There's an issue going on with my whatsapp on s22 ultra that whenever I open whatsapp chats from notifications it opens the chat 15 to 20 messages before the current chat like you're chatting and you go out of whatsapp and when you open from a notification the chat will not show you current messages but messages that you or the other person sent you earlier

Is anyone els3 facing the same issue?

Go to settings - apps - WhatsApp - battery - select "unrestricted".

Then restart your device and check if the issue is solved.

It solved the issue, but I don't know why it is not working now. It may depend on the settings, a bug, or the WhatsApp version.

I encountered a similar problem with my S22 Ultra approximately 18 months ago, which I resolved using the previously described method. I'm unsure why the same solution isn't effective for your device.
