Here are a few things that might be causing the issue:
- **Weak internet:** Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Try switching between the two to see if that helps.
- **Storage space:** Check if your phone has enough free space for WhatsApp to download and store media files. Delete any unnecessary files or apps to free up some space.
- **Outdated WhatsApp:** Make sure you're using the latest version of WhatsApp. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and update the app if there's a new version available.
- **Corrupted files:** If you're having trouble downloading a specific media file, it might be corrupted. Ask the sender to resend the file.
- **Temporary glitch:** Sometimes, a simple app restart can fix temporary glitches. Close WhatsApp completely and then relaunch it.
If none of these solutions work, you can contact WhatsApp support for further help.

Contact the retailer from where you have purchased your phone
Ask them to share with the distributor to add voucher data

I encountered a similar issue. The most effective solution is to duplicate the WhatsApp folder to an alternative location and subsequently uninstall WhatsApp. Following this, reinstall WhatsApp, launch it briefly, and then close it. Afterward, transfer the previously duplicated folder to the Android/media directory and register WhatsApp.
