Galaxy SDear Samsung, fellow Members, and tech reviewers,
I’m writing this because I believe many of us feel the same: the Galaxy Ultra is an incredible device, but its current “one-size-fits-all” strategy leaves too many customers divided.
When the S25 Ultra launched, we saw two major reactions:
- Some users missed the boxy Note feel and were upset over the loss of S-Pen Bluetooth functions.
- Others said they never use the S-Pen at all and were frustrated that its cost was baked into the Ultra’s high price — especially since that made it more expensive than the iPhone Pro Max.
This showed a clear split in the Ultra customer base:
- S-Pen loyalists who want the full Note DNA.
- Comfort-first users who just want the best Samsung phone without paying for features they don’t use.
And in the middle, a large group of “gray-zone” users who use the pen occasionally, or like one design but not the other. Right now, all of us are forced into
Instead of stretching one phone to cover everyone, Samsung could bring back real choice:
Galaxy S-Ultra
- Rounded edges, more comfortable in the hand
- No built-in S-Pen (optional accessory for those who want it)
- Same top-tier specs and cameras
- Lower price, directly competitive with iPhone
Galaxy S-Ultra Note
- Boxy Note-style design, premium finish
- Built-in S-Pen slot with full functionality (including Bluetooth)
- Same top-tier specs and cameras
- Slightly higher price, justified by the productivity tools
- Two Ultras. Same power. Your choice.
Why this makes sense
- Users win → Everyone picks the phone that fits their lifestyle with fewer compromises.
- Reviewers win → Clearer story: comfort vs productivity, instead of endless debates about corners and pen features.
- Samsung wins → Competes head-to-head with Apple on value while still keeping the Note identity alive.
And let’s be honest: if Samsung had resources to make the S25 Edge (which nobody asked for and reviewers criticized as unnecessary), then surely they can invest in two Ultras that people are openly asking for.
My thought
People don’t buy Samsung just for the logo — they buy it because of innovation, features, and practicality. Apple wins on brand identity; Samsung wins on giving people real options.
Bringing back choice with two Ultras would let Samsung compete with Apple without becoming Apple.
I close my case, your honor.
By the way What do you all think? Would you buy a Rounded Ultra or a Note

Galaxy S
I like your suggestion as I love using my s pen and I am happy to pay extra for it but if others don't like it they shouldn't be forced to use it. With this suggestion both type of customers will be happy. Also I will buy the note-ultra
