Galaxy S
I am using samsung from last 15 years. But today, even having flagship phone i.e. s24 ultra with latest software android 16 ui 8 update i am feeling un secure. And now i have felt a need to hide the secure folder from phone app setting. Samsung claiming one UI 8 most secure, but i think it disclosed all the setting and open the doors to every one to reach secure folder.
The first unsecure update of secue folder is immediate lock removed.
2ndly now when you open app drawers in setting there is a 2nd tab for the apps of secure folder which is again a breach of security.
3rd one is that when you are sharing something there is also an options of secure folders apps.
The most unsecure and absurd update is that samsung has almost murged the secure folder into main phone setting rather than keeping it separate and secure.
I think Samsung has too review their update
As new version and update means to improve the security not to remove the security.
Thanks

Galaxy SI get what you mean. As a fellow Samsung user, I also feel uneasy with how One UI 8 handles the Secure Folder. Having it so visible in settings and the app drawer does make it feel less “secure,” and options like immediate unlock and sharing from Secure Folder don’t help. I agree—Samsung really needs to rethink this update and bring back stronger separation to keep our data truly safe.
