Important Notes:
- Upgrading to the beta will not trip knox or affect warranty in any way if done by the methods above. You're basically installing the same update file that people enrolled officially installed, but manually.
- Banking apps may not work in the beta, because beta software is not google play certified, keep this in mind.
- Make sure you download the correct update.zip file for your exact model. For ex. SM-S928N update file will not flash successfully with a SM-S928B phone and vise versa. If the update is not out for your model or no one has pulled it yet, you don't have an option except to wait unfortunately.
- Take note of the build you have to be on in order to update the file you're about to download successfully, these will usually be on the update.zip link itself in post #2, you can check the build you are currently on in: Settings -> About Phone-> Software information. The last 4 characters of the build number is what you are looking for. If you are on a different build than the one on the left part of link before the arrow sign, you won't be able to flash the file successfully.
- Rename the .bin file you get from the links to update.zip in order to be able to flash it from recovery correctly.
- A common mistake done by some people is that they see the file named update while its a WinRAR.zip file already, which in your pc sometimes may just say "update" and has a zip icon. A mistake some do is they then add another .zip making the name of the file registered in the system "update.zip.zip" which will not be flashed successfully when you just put in sideload update.zip as a command, it wont see the file you are telling it to flash, So make sure you do it right.
- Updating to the beta is AT YOUR RISK, No one is responsible if anything goes wrong. However, the chance of device bricking errors is very small. That being said, it is sometimes smart to let others update first and hear from them, especially in the earlier beta versions
- Don't install a beta unless you are fully aware what you are going into, Don't install the beta if you want your phone to be completely and absolutely stable, IT'S a BETA for a reason.
- It is recommended to make a backup of your data before updating to the Android 15 Beta. The update does not delete your data, it is just a precaution.
- You will not receive OTA updates again UNTIL you are on a stable software version that also gets released later for your original CSC, thats most likely not happening before the BETA is over.
- If the last update.zip posted here gets you to the stable version that comes out for EUX (lets say its BXJ2) and your original CSC skips that version and gets the update a little later with a newer build (lets say BXJA), you will also not be able to recieve OTA updates until you are on a version that actually comes out for your CSC. The fix is to wait a bit and then flash the next update that comes out for your CSC (in our case lets say a month later BXK2 comes out for your CSC, you will need to flash that version with odin, then you will recieve OTA updates normally again. Sometimes your csc could also get the same build as EUX (in our example BXJ2), so there would be no need for all of this, and you would recieve updates normally.
- Quick Note:
My S24 Ultra isn't on a CSC that has a beta program. So unfortunately, i will not be able to pull the update.zip files myself. But i will try my best to keep the thread updated with the latest beta update.zip file (If/when someone pulls it), I added more details in post #1 compared to my last beta threads that I have organized for previous samsung devices, i hope i left nothing unanswered.
