I’ve noticed that the screen on my Galaxy phone automatically dims while watching dramas on the HiTV app, even though Auto-Brightness is turned off. This only happens during long episodes — after 10–15 minutes, the brightness suddenly drops, and I have to adjust it manually again.
I’ve already tried:
Turning off Adaptive Brightness and Power Saving Mode
Checking for display timeout or screen protector issues
Restarting the phone and reinstalling the app
Other apps like YouTube or Netflix work fine and don’t have this dimming issue.
