I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with the latest security patch, dated October 1, 2024. Subsequently, I have experienced instances of my device unexpectedly shutting off. The initial occurrence took place when the battery level was at 54%, followed by another at 26%, and a third at 96%. In each instance, I am required to connect the phone to a power source before it will power on again. Additionally, the power button is unresponsive during these shutdowns, although the device functions normally during regular usage, enabling it to turn on and off as expected.

I am having the same issue and it's only started in the last 7 to 10 days, maybe after a recent October 18 update.   I have the regular Galaxy S21.  It will just randomly jump huge percentages from lets say 76% to 52% to 18% and immediately shut off.  Other times it shuts off at random times, 32% or 27%.  I have deleted apps, moved to dark mode, shut off unused features and nothing is helping.
