Assalam o alaikum every one - recently I have purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (2 days before)
my overall experience is good with it -
But
One thing which I have noticed is and wanna share is :
Its resolution - default 1080 (FHD)
Which comes by default with almost every samsung smart phone.
but its quality is not the same as it was in my previous Galaxy S9 -
especially in instagram,facebook etc
the images are so blurry
you have to change it to WQHD resolution (1440) then you will experience the coolest sharp edges of the tiles/portraits/fonts/video quality etc -
but there is a problem -

as you change the resolution.
you will notice a huge change in its battery consumption/drain.
almost 30-40 percent change -
which is disturbing -
also a little bit slower than the normal FHD resolution.
- when you swipe through different menus,
- opening different Apps
- scrolling through browser or facebook or Instagram Snapchat etc

This "resolution must change" behaviour was not there in my previous S9 -
It was normal in its normal 1080 resolution -
the way it is in WQHD resolution in S21 Ultra

any 1 noticed the same ?

Sure will do
wait for it -
I had received a confirmation call yesterday - they (Samsung) told me to wait for 4 - 7 days

Give it a week, it usually takes time to settle down and optimize settings as per individual's usage pattern. Fast charge usually depletes quicker so try normal charging & let the battery run through a couple of charge cycles. Exynos this time around has better battery performance than SD 888
Galaxy S
yes no doubt
battery performance in normal FHD is great -
but in QHD - it is worst 😕

I went through a couple of videos and every reviewer mentioned the difference b/w fhd and qhd interms of battery performance is minimal, hopefully yours will settle down soon or give it a hard reset. Shouldn't be an issue, keeping fingers crossed

im using s21 ultra at 1080p with 120 hz
havent noticed blurriness
Galaxy S
120 Hz is for both - you can use it with FHD or QHD , The Choice is Yours - but Battery life will effect , secondly there is a noticable judder / choppiness effect in the transition - its speed will not remains the way it is in FHD -

Secondly there is a noticable blur effect in the social sites especially in the posts of facebook.
font sizes are annoying -

the Crispness is not there

I was not facing this kind of behaviour previously with my small screen S9

may be its the PPI Density which is lower as compared to S9 -
i dont know

but the resolution experience is not like before -
overall it is good
but in terms of resolution -
i think that small screen was perfect

i bought s21 ultra week ago it is overheating and the battery performance is not very good before this i was using A71 i think A71 was better in terms of battery etc . i spent a lot of money but i think it's not worthy if they don't fix it through software updates
