Now that I put my Type C earbuds in the port, the system just shows USB connector connected while the voice is on the main speakers not headphones
I cleared the debris from both devives but no help.
I have an S23 ultra

I use type C handsfree... And I now microphone is not working. Ppl can't hear my voice when I m talking like on WhatsApp etc.... don't know whether using type C handsfree developed this issue or is it some software issues. Connected my Bluetooth headphones also and same issue. The caller on the other end can't hear my voice so I'm assuming my s23's microphone is probably damaged

2 possible reasons

1) your handsfree is not compatible with Samsung, try another one to check, or check these handsfree on some other brand phone like oppo/vivo

2) maybe typeC port of your device is faulty. Try another typeC handsfree, but make sure you try another one which is working on some other Samsung phone.

These are original Samsung headphones and have been working fine in the past. The headphones are working in other phones but not mine. Moreover, there is another device facing same problem. Hence I believe it is some problem with the software
