Samsung promised the Galaxy S21 series four years of Android updates and five years of security patches. The Galaxy S21 received Android 11 when it launched in early 2021, and the last major update it will receive is Android 15. 

What updates will the Galaxy S21 receive? 

Android 12: Released in late 2021
Android 13: Released in late 2022
Android 14: Released in late 2023
Android 15: The last major update, released before mid 2025
