Galaxy SIf your refresh rate dips to 24Hz that's why the lag appears. Usually when using 120Hz refresh rate, the phone dips to 60hz when not in use to save power and ramps back up to 120Hz when touched. If your phone drops all the way down to 24Hz, then there is an app that is controlling it and making it drop to that level. If u can find the app or the setting, you can get ur screen back to the normal refresh rate
