This is very suspicious update for me? Is this a legit update?  That update is from app called Tadownloader. Please comment if any s20 + users got this update...

Hi...
TADownloader is an official Samsung system app. So nothing to worry. I think it asking for permission because of the security enhancements and it can't update automatically. As far I know, it's safe 😊✌️

I too received it and update it. It's for the biometrics and security patch update.. After updating it the fingerprint issue that was causing me to unlock slowly got fixed.. so nothing to worry about

And how do you know it's legit? Just because you have it too? That's not an argument for me! Sorry! I asked the Samsung employees about it on the hotline. I referred to this thread. The hotline employee has interviewed several departments and no one can confirm that it is legitimate.

I don't mean to sound pompous,  but i didn't get to Expert level 5 over night. I've used Samsung phones for over a decade. I've taken systems apart and rebuilt them for phones. I'm also the current highest solution provider. I don't expect Samsung emplyees to know the workings of the software parts. I don't think they are being taught it. Just because one is a samsung employee doesn't suddenly make them knowledgeable on these things, but being a samsung fan boy and installing custom roms and tinkering with software gives one a pretty good idea about whats legit and whats not. So yes its a valid update. Thanks!

According to the Samsung hotline, no update from Samsung. It is not known to anyone there!
