Hdd not working

So i connected my laptop hdd to my phone (S9) with the otg that came with my phone but it didn't show anything so I did some research and it turned out that I have to have extra power so I connected one side to my phone and the other to my ps4 so basically I thought the ps4 whould give extra power cause I didn't have a USB hub and it works but sometimes it gives a error high power usb connected unable to access this device needs external power supply eventhough I have already given a extra power source any idea ?

I'm not sure about power. But I have used this method to connect Laptop HDD to PC. You can use block USB for power and Blue for USB for data transfer.

I have a cable which has 3 usb one is for pluging in to the hdd the other 2 are for power and for whatever device like phone or laptop

it need more power to,run,please use extra power source to power up

I already have a enclosure but it doesnt work with only my phone u have to give extra power from my ps4 or somthing
