Facebook Video Rendering Issue

My Galaxy S26 Ultra has a reproducible Facebook video rendering issue. Facebook videos appear gray/washed out. When the volume overlay or notification appears, the video immediately becomes normal/vivid, and when the overlay disappears it becomes gray again. Enabling Developer Options → Disable HW overlays completely fixes the problem. This does not happen in other video apps. Please investigate this as a software/display-compositor issue rather than a hardware defect.

Could be the new privacy protection interference. Not fully optimized i guess

I have it turned off. But the issue persists and the issue is only with Facebook videos.

Go to vision enhancement and try reducing the transparency and blur. Might fix this

So far tried everything and nothing works. Only thing that worked so far that we have to enable the developer options and then on the 'Disable HW Overlays'. Then it gets resolved but keeping it turned on forever will drain the battery so that is a temporary fix not a permanent one.

They'll probably fix it in the next update
