Is it a good idea to put apps to deep sleep or not? I have not observed any changes in the battery life even after doing it, why so??

That's not true. It depends on the way you use your phone
Other Conpanies' batteries are not at all better than Samsung. And SAMSUNG BATTERIES LAST LONGER WHILE OTHER COMPANY AND CHINESE MANUFACTURERS BATTERIES MOST OF THE TIME DONT EVEN LAST A YEAR

Deep sleeping means that Apps will not run in the background at all and will work only while you're in the App
It saves Battery,
And it didn't say that it would save alot battery
I've experienced this myself and it actually works
