What I understand there two of updates;
1- Monthly Security Updates which Google release.
2- Updates which carrier or company (like Samsung etc) releases.
Now the Google security doesn't any changes. so I am unable to understand why Samsung is not pushing Google Security Updates on. For example I have Note 20 ultra and I am still waiting for December Security Updates.
My suggestion will be that Samsung should push the Security Updates on time and company updates when finalised.
that's why because samsung don't push there own security patch They Don't Have Any, Samsung Only Have Knox, samsung bring Google security patch add some their changes and push to ther user's.
Google security patches and Samsung Knox are two different things. Google security patches are regular security updates by Google whereas Knox is Samsung App. Its on Samsung when to update their Apps but Google is regularly pushing updates every month. I am interested in regular Google updates. If Samsung update Knox good enough otherwise its not that much important that Samsung delays Google updates for the sake of adding updates of their own Apps updates. Samsung can be updated through Samsung Store or Google Play.
there are two different approaches for Samsung devices. mostly users are loving Samsung for security reasons. security of knox is different from google patches.some time i feel there is no need to upgrade android version every year. google should stop making so stuff. they should launch new version !on behalf of major changes. its now race of versions. just waste of money and waste of energies
this is not fair, this is a premium note 20 ultra SM-N9860 device with an outdated software version, if this gonna take more time so my next device will be I phone 12, at least we will get updates on time
