Go to settings - then connections - then mobile networks, check that the VoLTE options are enabled.
If enabled, the VoLET icon may intermittently appear and disappear due to two damaged submarine cables causing widespread internet and network issues. News reports suggest that the issue may be resolved by August 28th.
