For every question on members feedback, i get the same copy/paste response to contact service centre. No point of having this forum.

i moved few pics in my secure folder note 8 gallery to an album. it said this file is already present in the album as multiple files were already in that album. So i selected 'replace' option and checked 'apply to all files' so that already present files are replaced at once. 

Now all those files are gone.
