One UI 3 lacking WiFi Direct file sharing

WiFi direct file sharing which was useful feature in all previous android versions is gone now. This allowed sharing of large sized files between devices with reasonable speed. Please bring this functionality back.

Try using quickshare instead, it uses wifi to transfer files. I believe for it to work both phones should be Samsung devices and quick share toggle should be enabled from Taskbar

quickshare only works in android 11, I have a tablet with android 10 and another phone with android 8, both of which lack quickshare.

I have 2 other Samsung phones both with android 10 & quickshare works perfectly. Try searching for quickshare in settings
