Galaxy NoteHi everyone,
I’ve been noticing that after installing a few games and productivity apps on my Galaxy Note phone, the overall performance feels a bit sluggish. Apps are taking longer to open, and sometimes the phone heats up more than usual.
I tried clearing cache and even used Device Care, but the issue still comes back after a while. While searching, I found guide here: https://zmbcathersapk.com/ that talks about optimizing Android apps for smoother performance.
Has anyone else faced this slowdown issue? Do you recommend using any built-in Samsung features (like RAM Plus or Game Booster) to fix it, or should I consider a factory reset?
Thanks in advance!

Galaxy NoteHey, I’ve run into this same problem on my Galaxy device before. Usually, it happens when some apps keep running in the background even after you close them.
What worked for me:
Go into Device Care → Memory and manually stop background apps.
Enable RAM Plus if your model supports it — it really helps with multitasking.
Also, check if any of the apps you installed are using too many permissions or draining the battery; sometimes just uninstalling one heavy app fixes the lag.
A factory reset should always be the last option. In most cases, a little optimization and keeping the software updated solves the slowdown without wiping everything.
Hope that helps!
