Double tap to wake not working

Hi! Double tap to aweak feature is not working in my Note 10 suddenly. I restart the phone couple of times. And try re do the feature as well. It shows that the feature is selected but it just doesn't work. Can someone please help me. Thank you.

What do you think about your protective glass over the display?
What about the interactive checks in members app?
Tried a soft resetting?
How about your finger nails? (I mean something may have happened form scratches)

my protective glass is loosen from the edges, it is a UV glued temperd glass that i am using. do you think that could be the reason? I did the resetting and touch sensitivity test. it worked just fine.

I think in "double tap wake up"- the touch sensitivity is far more less than it would have been in while in active usage .So though the sensitivity test passed that little distraction form the tempered may have led you up in to this trouble!
I'm not sure though!

no I have always used it on optimised power mode
