Samsung Galaxy M02S Charging Problem

I usually turn off the phone and plug it in to charge. It usually takes about 2 and a half hours to turn off the phone and get it fully charged. But I had an emergency the day before yesterday so I turned on the phone and charged it. In an hour and a half the phone was fully charged. What is that? Is there a problem with my phone?

I think they handle the fast charging feature from the software side. If the phone is not switched on they will do the regular charging. So that's why switched off mobile get two and half hours to fully charge and switched on mobile get one and half hours to fully charge. It's not a problem with your phone.

Phones charge the same speed on or off if not used. I think it's more of a coincidence.

The phone only charges to the max fast charge speed up to about 70% after that despite saying "fast charge" the phone only charges at a very slow rate (trickle charging) to not over load the battery

It doesnt matter your phone is on or off to phone to use fast charging. If fazt charging is turned on, phone will charge at the supported wattage accordung to the ongoing conditions. Probably if you are not using the phone and its turned off it will charge slightly faster in contrarary to what you've experienced. And remember sometimes you feel ike this in some scenarios because unintentionally you've change the conditions that decide the charging speed. For an example, do yoh know why they advertise the time taken for the first 50%? Its because its the range where the battery can get charged as fast as possible without a damage which simply means you csnnot fully charge the device in the time you get by multplying the advertised time by two. So on other days you may have plugged it in when its has left few percent more battery remaining so it may the cause you used to think that after turning it on and plugging in it charged faster.

I don't know😕 but my M01 core phone have same problem. But I unplugged my phone and replugged it. There is no problem then.
