Hello everyone . My phone's screen goes off when it's front camera is  just simply covered. This begins to happen from today morning . Can anybody tell me how to switch off this effect. This does'nt switch off when I deactivate the effect we use to protect accidental touches when in a bag or pocket.

No.. it's not because of that. I switched off accidental touch protection . But this effect doesn't goes off

Check your screen protector
Most cheap screen protectors usually block the proximity sensor from receiving light.
