Hello everyone . My phone's screen goes off when it's front camera is  just simply covered. This begins to happen from today morning . Can anybody tell me how to switch off this effect. This does'nt switch off when I deactivate the effect we use to protect accidental touches when in a bag or pocket.

Have you tried restarting your phone? If not please restart and see if there is a change

Hi Hiruni,

Some third-party wireless fast chargers may cause unexpected phone wake-ups. Use only Samsung-approved chargers for optimal performance.

Make sure the Bixby or the Power keys are not pressed.

Check to make sure the Bixby key and Power key (or Side key) are not accidentally being pressed. Remove any third-party cases or covers that may be around the keys.

You can ADJUST BIXBY'S VOICE WAKE UP sensitivity or turn it off completely.

Turn off Lift to wake.

If you have the Lift to wake option enabled, your phone’s screen will turn on when you pick up your phone. To disable this, navigate to Settings and then tap Advanced features. Tap Motions and gestures, and then tap the switch next to "Lift to wake" to turn it off.

Turn off Double tap to wake.

The Double tap to wake option will turn on your phone’s screen when you tap on it twice. To disable this, navigate to Settings and then tap Advanced features. Tap Motions and gestures, and then tap the switch next to "Double tap to wake" to turn it off.

Use the phone in Safe mode.

Some third-party apps may cause the phone to wake up or may cause the screen to turn on when your phone is charging or sleeping. Test the phone in SAFE MODE to prevent third-party apps from running.

I thinks so This happens get because you on acidental touch protection it works if you covered your display because your device has proximity sensor near the selfie camera 🤳 📷 but you wake-up your phone using power button you can see this like on your device 👇. Do you need to off this feature follow this open settings>display settings>now you can see acidental touch protection in bottom of your display 😃 👍Screenshot_20220122-180439_One UI Home_95767_1642854880.jpg
