All customization features aside, ultimately what OS gives the best user experience, given that the user is your avarage non-techy person?

I think for me it will have to be android. The system is more user friendly and settings are easier to find and categorized much more easily. Anything u don't like can be removed. App installation is relatively easy, even apps that aren't on a playstore.

You don't need a laptop to set anything up or in any setting up process. Also still many Android devices offer chargers and headphones in the box

No I mean like, think of someone who just normaly uses their phone, and doesn't need crazy features or seperate app installations....your normal avarage joe

Well i think its personal preference. Both Android and IOS has a lot to offer. Its just that u need to put in some time and effort to know it. But i personally feel Android is easier to figure out on the spot more than IOS

No I've been watching Mrwhosetheboss and MKBHD videos and I'm really into smartphones, and I like to get this kinda info...and yeah I'm technically a Samsung user...though I use my mom's phone😅 She won't let me have one

Plus this a question that's been raging on since the 2010s

Ah right. I'm a huge fan of MKBHD and MRWHOSETHEBOSS, and many others. I only asked cause thats a question that someone would ask when they are just getting into smartphones. Eventually you pick one and hope for the best. I came from Symbian OS which was Nokias version of a OS and then went straight to android and grew up up with it ever since and I've never looked back. So I'm pretty comfortable with Android, samsung mainly. Doesn't mean I hate Apple. Lots of people think u have to be black or white, u love android and hate apple or vice versa. I think u can love something but acknowledge and respect what another os is doing. So in the end the question comes down to personal preference and what kind of tech u grew up with
