Over the past year, Samsung has launched the Galaxy M22 in select markets. This is the re-named version of the Galaxy A22, and both phones have the exact specs and design language. The device was introduced to Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software. Now, the Galaxy M22 has started getting its second major Android OS update.
The Galaxy M22 gets theAndroid 13-based One UI 5.0 update in Europe with the firmware version release M225FVXXU4CVK3 . The update also includes October 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities. It is being rolled out inFrance,Germany,Greece,Italy,Spain,Hungary,Luxembourg,Netherlands &United Kingdom.
If you own the Galaxy M22 and live in one of the above countries, you can now install theAndroid 13 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
