if it primarily comes with Android 9 you can not downgrade but if not you can root the device and install Android 8

Kingo root is a good option. Search the name of the software,watch a tutorial video. I've rooted my devices with this software.

if you have no knowledge about root I would highly recommend go to someone who knows how to perform because if it dies work properly it can brick your phone

and also it might void your warranty

Rooting a phone voids the warranty whether the phone bricks or the root is successful. If someone really wants to root their phone, they should do it after their phone is out of it's warranty period.
