I am experiencing a recurring issue with the display on my samsung j7 core SM-J701F, running Android 9 pie. The display intermittently turns on and off without any input from me and it just happens continuously until i restart my device. Restarting resolves the issue for a period of time. This occurs both when actively using the device and when it is idle, making it very disruptive and frustrating to use. It happens randomly throughout the day
I think it may be a software bug but unfortunately Samsung doesn't support android 9
