Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is getting the April 2025 security update. The company is patching the device this month, as the One UI 7 update is planned for next month. Released back in March 2023, the device is eligible for new patches every month. The April 2025 update rollout solidifies that Samsung may bring One UI 7 to the Galaxy A54 in May 2025. Samsung has sold the Galaxy A54 5G as Quantum 4 in South Korea. The update is also droppedin the company’s home ground, which should soon be available in Asia and Europe.Notably, the latest release bumps the bootloader version, meaning you won’t be able to downgrade to the previous build as part of preparing the devices for a major software update.
