Phir idea nahin one ui 8.0 mein restriction aai hai Jab usb computer ya latop se connect karain tu phir option shoe hota hai us ko ja ke click karain tu phir biometric mangta hai biometric karne ke bad us option ko ON karta hai...
I faced similar problem using the same phone when connecting to the PC. But it was the problem of Window. When you have official window 10 & 11 your phone will connect easily but if you have other pirated ones it will not work. If you have wifi I could tell you away to move file's from phone to PC in other way it's also fast but needs Wifi on both the things
So you should connect the both PC and phone with same wifi than download "link to windows" on the phone and "phone link" on the PC than connect both this is safe and fast way to transfer anytype of data from here to there. Otherwise you have to install official window 10 or 11 To connect the both PC and phone 📱
