I have samsung A72 and when i switch to telephoto lens, what it does is it zooms in 3x the main camera instead of using the dedicated telephoto lens

If you use 3x zoom of Samsung A72 in outdoor day light it uses 8mp optical telephoto lense camera .

But if you use 3x zoom in night time and in indoor in day or night it uses main camera lense 64mp as zoom .
