Samsung messages has stopped working

My Samsung messages has stopped working after updating Chrome, Android Auto and Maps. What could be the reason behind it? When I open it, it disappears when I tap on messages from a contact. Need help

Same problem happened with my phone.. my messages has also stopped ..when I opened it ,it closes automatically back to homescreen

I have downloaded Google Messages. It is okay but I'm not satisfied with it.

I did also but not happy with that.. I more curious about that why is default message app not working..

I restarted my phone, clear all the data but still not opening

I don't know, may be it has compatibility issue with any other application.

I Uninstalled all the recent updates, then it worked for me. Uninstall them and again update them by going to Play Store.
