I recently faced a frustrating issue with my Samsung Galaxy A05. On Monday, my phone auto-restarted as part of theAuto Optimization feature. When I tried to unlock it using my correct password, it kept showing"Incorrect password" repeatedly. I was sure I was entering the right code, but the phone simply wouldn’t recognize it.
At first, I thought about restarting the device, but since it required the correct password for that too, I couldn’t do anything. I even considered afactory reset, but I decided to try something different instead.
I let the batterydrain completely to 0% since I noticed that recording videos drains the battery faster. My phone was at90%, so I started recording, and it took6–7 hours to reach 0%. Once the phone powered off, I charged it slightly, turned it back on, and entered my password again. This time, it worked! I was relieved that I didn’t have to factory reset and lose all my data.
I believe theAuto Restart feature on Mondays might have caused the phone toforget the password recognition system instead of optimizing it. If anyone else has faced this issue, is there a proper fix for this, or should I just disable Auto Restart completely?
