Proximity sensor

How can i check proximity sensor of my galaxy A52s 5g. I am facing bit problem of screen on/off during calls.

I did but there were all other sensors excpet proximity. At the end of test rsults shows that all sensors are working properly.

dial *#0*# and you can test the whole Phone.
for your problem you can go to Sensor menu and see if the menu goes green when you place a finger near proximity sensor. i hope your sensor is working. 👍

I dont have an option of proximity in sensor menu

then your phone doesn't have this sensor that's why you're facing this issue.

Then how most of the times it works perfectly ?

there is not physical Proximity Sensor present in your model (A52s 5G). it works sometimes because it's what they call "Virtual Proximity Sensor". it means it's done through software. that's why its not accurate and you face issues. always check specifications before buying a device. :)
